NLYHA Mites have adopted the Mite Minor Mite Major Skill Guide as a tool to evaluate skaters as they enter our mite hockey system. The coaches will utilize this guide to determine the proper placement of each skater. Proper placement is critical to keep each skater challenged while enjoying the sport of hockey.  The placement will be considered fluid throughout the year.  The coaches will be granted the discretion to move kids around as they advance.

The Mite Coordinator will be sending out the rosters for each division once the evaluation is complete.  This will be done prior to the official start of the season.
